JUNE 20TH, 1997
APPEARANCE IN THIRD DISTRICT COURT: ( HUTO 1246-97 / 1247-97 ) We appeared in our own defense because summons was to Charles Bongiorno and not to corporate name of Northern Restorations Inc. Told the judge that we were already tried and charged for the same offense. Town attorney wants to amend the ticket to read the correct name but I objected to this. They are supposed to re-submit, according to one of the town clerks in Huntington. What I think this means they are going to revise the summons for the 3 x 4 square foot sign.
On June 20th, 1997 I reappeareded in court to answer to same charges again I met with Mr. Bonesso. I had told him that we were already charged with this offense and cannot be charged twice for the same thing. He responded, "... oh yes you can". I than responded with the fact that we were already here for the sign offense and represented by attorney Charles Matthews and do not want to have to hire and attorney for this again, As I was leaving the building he replied, "... were gonna get you for this". I believe this threat should be reprimanded harshly.
